Accessing Your Settings
Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner and select Settings. The settings page is organized into sections: Profile, Preferences, and Notifications.
Profile
Your profile displays the name and email from your Google account. You can update your display name at any time. Your email is used for billing receipts, usage alerts, and team invitations.
Translation Preferences
Set your preferred default source and target languages so they are pre-selected every time you open the translator. You can also choose a default translation engine. These preferences save time if you work with the same language pair regularly.
Notification Settings
- Low credit alerts — Receive an email when your balance drops below a threshold.
- Weekly usage digest — A summary of your translation activity for the week.
- Product updates — Occasional emails about new features and engine improvements.
Security
Adara Translate uses Google Sign-In for authentication, which means your password is managed by Google. Enable two-factor authentication on your Google account to add an extra layer of security. All API communication is encrypted via HTTPS, and your translation data is never stored after processing.
Deleting Your Account
If you wish to delete your account, visit Settings and scroll to the bottom. Click Delete Account and confirm. This action permanently removes your profile, usage history, and any saved glossaries. Active subscriptions are cancelled immediately with no further charges.
