Installing the Extension
Visit the Chrome Web Store and search for Adara Translate. Click Add to Chrome and confirm the installation. The Adara Translate icon appears in your browser toolbar.
Right-Click Translation
Highlight any text on a webpage, right-click, and select Translate with Adara. A small popup shows the translation using your default engine and target language. This is the fastest way to translate snippets while browsing.
Popup Interface
Click the Adara Translate icon in the toolbar to open the popup. Paste or type text, select your language pair and engine, and click Translate. Results appear instantly. You can copy the output with one click.
Settings
Click the gear icon in the popup to access settings:
- Default target language — Set your most-used target language so it is pre-selected.
- Default engine — Choose which engine to use by default for right-click translations.
- Auto-detect source language — Toggle on to skip manual source language selection.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts to assign a keyboard shortcut for opening the popup or translating selected text. A shortcut like Ctrl+Shift+T can significantly speed up your workflow.
