Quick Start Guide: Your First Translation

Walk through signing up, choosing an engine, translating text, and understanding credits in under five minutes.

Welcome to Adara Translate

Adara Translate gives you access to five professional translation engines through a single interface. This guide walks you through your very first translation, from account creation to result.

Step 1: Create Your Account

Visit adaratranslate.com and click Get Started. Sign in with your Google account for the fastest setup. Your account is created instantly and you receive free starter credits to try the platform.

Step 2: Open the Translator

Once logged in, you land on the translation dashboard. The main text area is front and center. Select your source language on the left and your target language on the right. If you are unsure of the source language, leave it set to Auto-Detect.

Step 3: Choose a Translation Engine

Adara Translate supports five engines: DeepL, Google Translate, Microsoft Translator, GPT, and Gemini. Each engine has different strengths:

  • DeepL — Excellent for European languages with natural-sounding output
  • Google Translate — Widest language coverage, great all-rounder
  • Microsoft Translator — Strong for business and technical content
  • GPT — Best for nuanced, context-aware translations
  • Gemini — Fast and capable across many language pairs

Step 4: Translate

Paste or type your text, then click Translate. Results appear in seconds. You can copy the output, switch engines to compare, or adjust the language pair and try again.

Step 5: Check Your Credits

Each translation uses credits based on character count and engine. Visit your Dashboard to see remaining credits, usage history, and plan details. Free-tier users receive a generous monthly allowance to get started.

Next Steps

Now that you have completed your first translation, explore document translation for PDFs and Word files, set up a glossary for consistent terminology, or compare engines side-by-side to find your best fit.
