Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Adara Translate.

What languages does Adara Translate support?
We support over 100 languages including major global languages like English, Spanish, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, and many more. Our multi-engine approach ensured the highest quality coverage across all supported pairs.
Which translation engines do you use?
We combine the best-in-class engines: DeepL for superior nuance in European languages, Google Translate for vast language coverage, Microsoft Translator for enterprise integration, and OpenAI's GPT-5 for context-aware and creative adaptations.
What file formats can I translate?
You can translate a wide variety of formats including Microsoft Office files (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx), PDF documents, and directly within Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides using our add-ons.
Is my data secure?
Security is our top priority. We use enterprise-grade encryption for all data in transit and at rest. We strictly adhere to privacy standards and do not use your data to train our translation models without your explicit permission.
Do I need to install software?
Adara Translate is primarily cloud-based, accessible via any modern web browser. For seamless workflow integration, we also offer lightweight add-ons for Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, and mobile apps for iOS and Android.
Which plan is best for me?
Our plans are designed to scale with your usage. Start with Free to explore the platform, upgrade to Starter for consistent usage, and choose Basic or Premium for large teams and deeper integrations.
What happens at the end of my free trial?
You can upgrade to a paid plan to continue uninterrupted service. If you decide not to upgrade, your account will revert to the Free tier.
Can I cancel my plan at any time?
Absolutely. You can cancel through the billing dashboard. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Why is my translation empty or incomplete?
Empty or incomplete translations can occur if: (1) The source text contains only special characters or formatting that cannot be translated, (2) The text exceeds the maximum character limit for a single request, (3) There was a temporary connection issue. Try breaking large content into smaller chunks or check that your source text contains actual translatable content.
Why can't I use glossaries with Google Translate?
Custom glossaries are a feature exclusive to DeepL engine. Google Translate and Microsoft Translator do not support user-defined term mappings through our platform. If terminology consistency is critical for your project, we recommend using DeepL with a custom glossary.
How accurate are AI translations (GPT-5/Gemini) vs traditional engines?
Traditional engines like DeepL and Google excel at straightforward text with established patterns. AI engines (GPT-5, Gemini) are superior for context-heavy content, marketing copy, creative writing, and texts requiring cultural adaptation. For legal or technical documents, we recommend DeepL. For marketing and creative content, try GPT-5 or Gemini.
What happens if translation fails during batch processing?
Our batch processing is designed to be resilient. If a specific segment fails, the system will retry automatically up to 3 times. Successfully translated segments are preserved, and only the failed segments need to be re-processed. You will not be charged credits for failed translations.
